The governor assures these students that this was a joint effort at the beginning of the 4.0 era, where students would be prepared for future technological updates.

Meanwhile, Group Head of XL Axiata East Region, Bambang Parikesit said that the management of XL Axiata fully sympathizes with the problems partially felt by the public, including those in East Java, related to the ability to obtain data quotas for the implementation of PJJ. For this reason, XL Axiata believes the urgency of implementing PJJ so that students may still attend their online school and studies. In this way, XL Axiata is honored to assist the public and customers by facilitating the accurate amount of data quota.

"With this assistance, we hope that the burden on some students and their parents will be lighter, as well as for the teachers and education staff. The free data quota packages that are distributed are ready for use in September 2020. Hence, each aid package can be immediately used by the recipient students, "added Bambang.

The mechanism for distributing this free data quota package to students and teachers and education personnel will be carried out by schools in coordination with the East Java Provincial Education Office. The distribution of this donation will be done by prioritizing underprivileged students who need internet access for online learning activities. The package given is an AXIS starter pack, which includes a data quota of 30 GB. This quota can be obtained by students when the card is activated and includes an additional data quota of 55 GB after the card is registered in the Dapodik system through their respective school admin, with a validity period of December 31, 2020. This quota is outside of the quota subsidy for students from the Ministry of Education and Culture.

The data quota received by these students can be used to access a number of applications that are most often used by teachers to send course materials or assignments to students, namely the Microsoft Teams application, Zoom, Google Meet, Google Hangout, Google Classroom, and WhatsApp. In addition, the data quota can also be used to open applications and websites that provide additional material for learning references, namely Udemy, Ruang Guru, Zenius, Sekolahmu, as well as the official Kemendikbud Learning Center website https://belajar.kemendikbud.go.id and Spada Indonesia Ministry of Education and Culture at https://spada.kemdikbud.go.id or https://lmsspada.kemdikbud.go.id/
