Content Creator Academy: Inspiring the Young Generation in Blitar

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the city of Blitar in East Java witnessed the excitement of a younger generation exploring the realm of content creation. The Content Creator Academy event, themed "Secrets to Success as a Young Content Creator!" drew hundreds of attendees from high schools and universities. The event, held at Taman Djajang Aliza in Sananwetan, Blitar, was organised by XLSMART Community Blitar in collaboration with the Islamic University of Balitar (UNISBA) and the Blitar Entrepreneur Community TDA (Tangan Di Atas), and was aimed at junior/senior high school students and university students from the UNISBA community.

Dani Miftahul Akhyar, Head of Corporate Communications & CSR at XLSMART and the program's mentor, emphasised that Teman Pintar provides a practical solution for youths to utilise digital technology wisely and productively.

"This program is intended to provide young people with fundamental skills for creating creative, educative, and positive content. It’s a vital step in fostering digital creativity, which is a crucial pillar in nation-building in the information technology era,” said Dani.

Minto Santoso, Chairperson of the XLSMART Community in Blitar, inaugurated the event. TDA Blitar content creation practitioners Maftuch Yudistira and Yufi Susanto were also in attendance, sharing practical ideas on personal branding, recognising digital platforms, and creating engaging content.

Hesti Puspitasari, a representative of UNISBA Blitar, stated that this program reflects XLSMART's compassion for the younger generation. She highly appreciated the event, emphasizing that strong digital literacy is key for young people to use technology for positive purposes.

Meanwhile, Zaim Fatawi, Chairman of TDA Blitar and owner of Warung Mbok Djilah, emphasised that “content creation is more than merely going viral. It should have a good impact both personally and socially, while adhering to ethical ideals and religious instruction in Indonesian society. It is also about increasing productivity so that innovators may prosper in today's competitive environment."

As a form of appreciation, Minto Santoso provided that the top three Blitar participants would each receive IDR 3 million in cash. This is meant to inspire the younger generation to continue creating positive digital content.
