Axiata is one of the largest Asian telecommunications groups in Asia towards a single goal: Advancing Asia.

 

Incorporated on 12 June 1992 and listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad since 28 April 2008, Axiata has controlling interests in mobile operators in Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Cambodia with significant strategic stakes in India; Singapore and Pakistan.

 

Axiata’s mobile subsidiaries and associates operate under the brand name Celcom (Malaysia), XL (Indonesia), Dialog (Sri Lanka), Robi (Bangladesh), Smart (Cambodia), Idea (India) and M1 (Singapore). Added to this Axiata has also established Edotco Group which is involved in the provision of telecommunication infrastructure and services.
