BALI, September 10, 2025 – PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk (XLSMART) and PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) signed a strategic agreement at the Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2025 last week. Feby Sallyanto, Chief Enterprise Business Solution at XLSMART, and Noor Mahmudah Moorcy, General Manager of Carrier Service and Other License Operator at Telkom, signed the agreement. Through this agreement, both companies pledged to expand collaboration in a variety of areas in order to improve service quality while also creating new business opportunities.

Director & Chief Enterprise and Strategic Relation Officer of XLSMART, Andrijanto Muljono, stated, "With the signing of this agreement, XLSMART reaffirms its commitment to strengthening synergy with Telkom. This collaboration not only generates new business potential, but it also provides a better service experience for customers throughout Indonesia. Together, we are working to establish a more inclusive and competitive national digital ecosystem.”

The cooperation comprises agreements on several initiatives:

  • Transit Voice Call Center 188 via Telkom. Improving convenience and service quality for XLSMART customers when making calls to call center 188 (Telkomsel/IndiHome).
  • Eyeball Monetization: Leveraging XLSMART’s customer base (eyeballs) for OTT content access that can be monetized by both parties.
  • International Voice: Enhancing the convenience and quality of XLSMART customers’ international calls using the 007 prefix.

With this collaboration, both customers and companies will benefit. Customers will experience improved service quality, notably in call center connections, access to diverse content, and optimised international calling. Meanwhile, for the businesses, this partnership opens up new chances to generate revenue, expand digital business models, and strengthen both companies' position in Indonesia's Telecommunications industry, Andrijanto added.

Most of the services emerging from this collaboration are now available to customers, and both companies are open to exploring new forms of collaboration in the future, in accordance with shifting customer needs and the dynamics of the telecommunications industry.

By the end of the second quarter of 2025, XLSMART's revenue had increased by 22% YoY to IDR 10.5 trillion. This also provides XLSMART greater flexibility in accelerating collaboration with strategic industry partners including Telkom.
