Customers in this area can now get fast and reliable 4G LTE and VoLTE service via the XLSMART network. As an expression of appreciation for the community's enthusiasm, SMARTFREN urged the public to join and celebrate the excitement of the SMARTFREN Fun Run 2025 on Sunday (28/9). This is the 20th city stop in a series of nationwide races organised throughout Indonesia under the theme Together, Go Beyond.

Held at Pantai Panjang, Bengkulu, the Fun Run attracted more than 500 runners from various communities and walks of life.

Wonhae, ZINC Proguard, 100Plus, Pristine, Quantum, Hydrococo, Physiohealthy, Palm Ola Bakery and Resto, as well as media partner RRI, all contributed to the event's excellence.
The SMARTFREN Fun Run 2025 seeks to inspire the Bengkulu community to get involved in a fun and healthy exercise while also introducing them to SMARTFREN's latest services. SMARTFREN Fun Run 2025, with its theme of togetherness, provided a platform for strengthening community relationships and increasing awareness of the necessity of a healthy lifestyle.

XLSMART Supports Digital Literacy in Bengkulu Through Free Internet for Schools
In its efforts to broaden digital literacy and support education, XLSMART donated free internet data packages and learning devices to schools and educational institutions in Bengkulu on Sunday (28/9). This program is expected to provide access to education for thousands of students while also boosting the growth of digital tourism in Bengkulu province.
With this initiative, students can learn more smoothly, access digital materials, and expand their knowledge without worrying about data limitations. Over 96,000 students and teachers have benefited from this program, which allows them to learn online without barriers and improves educational quality.
The Data Donation Movement (GDK) benefitted five institutions: Sarfat Christian Orphanage Bengkulu, Sekolah Alam Bengkulu Mahira, Pesantren Salafiyah Ahlul Qur'an Bengkulu, YDBKS Amal Mulia Foundation (for persons with disabilities) Bengkulu, and SMAN 1 Kaur Bengkulu. These institutions are important for the education and welfare of Bengkulu's children. The initiative not only provides access, but it also trains teachers and kids on how to utilise the internet properly. With free access, Bengkulu students can get a competitive advantage and have additional opportunities for developing digital skills.
Fidian Junaidi, S.Pd.M.Pd.Si, Principal of SMAN 1 Kaur Bengkulu, appreciated the initiative, adding that not all students have adequate internet access. The GDK program ensures that every student can acquire knowledge effectively without being hampered by restricted connectivity.
The Data Donation Movement (GDK) from XLSMART allows XL and AXIS customers to contribute some of their data quota through the myXL and AXISNet apps. The donated data is subsequently given to educational institutions throughout Indonesia, giving free internet access for 12 months.
