XLSMART Introduced Credit Control Feature: Protects Customers Credit from Unexpected Usage

Jakarta, August 7, 2025 – PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk (XLSMART) continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing customer experience and satisfaction by introducing Credit Control, a new feature intended to provide customers with peace of mind and convenience. This innovation allows customers to lock their credit, safeguarding it from improper use outside of their main data plan, such as paid SMS, subscription-based content services, or basic internet charges.

 

With the Credit Control feature, XLSMART customers no longer have to worry about their credit usage without their permission. This is a genuine step by XLSMART toward giving customers more control over their service usage along with improving their overall experience.

 

Mohamed Moharram, Group Head of Customer Value & Experience Management at XLSMART, stated “We understand how upsetting it can be for customers to lose credit as a result of inadvertent usage. That's why we're providing Credit Control, a simple yet effective way to keep customer credit secure and only used for the services they choose."

 

To activate the Credit Control feature, customers can follow these steps:

 

For XL Prepaid Customers:

 

  1. Log in to myXL app
  2. After logging in, go to the Profile page
  3. Tap on Credit Control
  4. Choose which services you want to lock
    · Subscription SMS
    · SMS Banking
    · Data
  5. Confirm activation and preserve your preferences

For AXIS Customers:

 

  1. Log in to the AXISNet app
  2. After logging in, go to AXIS Settings
  3. Tap on “Lock Pulsa
  4. Tap the padlock icon next to the services that you want to lock:
    · Calls
    · SMS
    · I
    nternet Data
    · Premium Service
    · M-Banking
  5. Select the services you want to lock
  6. Tap SAVE to confirm

The Credit Control feature is now available to all XL Prepaid and AXIS customers via the myXL and AXISNet apps. XLSMART remains committed to inventing and providing services that are beneficial and applicable to all of its customers.
