Abhijit added that the adoption of FTTR technology is done to prevent speed degradation caused by WiFi networks that are less able to penetrate barriers, such as walls, and home partitions that adversely affect the customer experience. The use of FTTR fibre optics will ensure a smoother, faster and more stable internet experience evenly distributed throughout the house or building.
In collaboration with Huawei, FTTR is an innovative solution with fibre optic cabling as a network medium, which is installed in each room in a house or building. This technology ensures stability and internet speed that is evenly distributed to all rooms in the house that cannot be reached by mesh WiFi devices.
