Yogya – Solo KRL Passengers Increase XL Axiata Enhances Network Performance Along the Way

Since the Yogyakarta - Solo KRL started operating early last year, there has been a 78% increase in data traffic along the train line connecting the two popular cities. Bambang claims that the Yogyakarta-Solo KRL line has access to the XL Axiata fast internet network, with 11 stations serving KRL passengers and located in Yogyakarta City, Sleman Regency, Surakarta City, Sukoharjo Regency, and Klaten Regency. Various efforts are continuously made to maintain service quality, for example network expansion, capacity upgrade, throughput increase, and latency improvement.

 

Network quality improvement is also conducted through fiberization to all BTS, including those that support KRL lines. Fiberization aims to increase the capacity of the 4G network so that the quality of data services is maximized, fast, and stable.

Even before there was KRL, this route has become a priority for XL Axiata, considering that this is a very busy route. The increase in 4G networks will go as long as there are needs for quality data services that increase in Yogyakarta – Solo agglomeration area. Data traffic has surged in this region by 120% on average over the last two years, with Solo Raya experiencing the greatest growth.
