XL Axiata - Bank BCA Cooperation Facilitates Subscribers to Buy Data Packages

Jakarta, 14 June 2021 – PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) has established a strategic partnership with Bank Central Asia (BCA) to facilitate subscribers who are also customers of each party to gain easier access to internet data purchases. Through this collaboration, subscribers/customers can easily purchase XL Axiata’s data package products, namely XL, AXIS, and PRIO Booster, through BCA sales channels including BCA mobile, KlikBCA, and BCA ATM. Subscribers can take advantage of these services starting 4 June 2021.

 

Chief Sales Officer of XL Axiata, Octavia Kurniawan (Okie) said, “We are very pleased to be able to collaborate with BCA, one of the largest banks in Indonesia. This collaboration between our two parties is possible because of the large number of XL Axiata subscribers who are also BCA customers. This collaboration is also a development of the cooperation that we have done so far, namely for the sale of cellular credits. So now, not only credits, subscribers or BCA customers can also buy data packages directly through BCA sales channels."

 

Okie added that this collaboration is part of XL Axiata's initiative to develop sales channels to match the growing needs of subscribers in purchasing easier and faster digital data packages. One of the digital sales channels that are widely used by subscribers is purchases through bank-owned channels, where transactions can be directly carried out through bank-owned applications. The pattern of purchasing through banks continues to increase, especially in urban areas where people's digital activities also continue to grow.

 

There are several ways that subscribers and BCA customers can get XL Axiata data packages:

 

From BCA mobile:

Enter the "M-Commerce" menu, Top-up Voucher, Enter Voucher Type, select XL/AXIS Packages, fill in your mobile phone number, then select the type of package you wish to purchase.

 

From ATM BCA:

Enter "Other Transactions" menu, select Other Top-up Vouchers, select XL/Axis Packages, then enter your mobile phone number, click OK, then select the package type.

 

From Individual Klik BCA:

To do this, login to www.klikbca.com, enter your internet banking user ID and PIN, then select the purchase menu and select top-up voucher. Then you select the type of XL/AXIS voucher and select the required nominal. Then enter the mobile phone number. Then select KeyBCA and select Appli 2, then enter the 8 numbers listed on the internet banking screen.

Next, enter the 6-digit KeyBCA response on the internet banking screen and select continue. After that, confirm the voucher purchase with KeyBCA Appli 1 response in the internet banking screen.

 

XL Axiata is focused on transformation that drives the execution of business digitization by, among other things, implementing simplicity and automation. This strategy is in line with the increase in data traffic and the heightened use of data services that continues to rise even in the midst of the pandemic. It was recorded that as of the first quarter of 2021, the contribution of data revenue reached 94%, with smartphone penetration reaching 90%.
