XL Axiata's Impactful Contributions to Society Recognized with Three Prestigious Awards

Jakarta, March 23th , 2024. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata)'s dedication to superior customer service and social responsibility has earned recognition from various groups. Throughout March 2024, XL Axiata won three awards for its contribution for the society: Best Women CEO from the Women's Tabloid Awards, Fortune Indonesia Change the World 2023, and Indonesia Most Visionary Companies Awards 2024.


XL Axiata's President Director & CEO, Dian Siswarini, stated, "We at XL Axiata always prioritize excellence in business operations, customer service, and supporting national telecommunications development. These efforts have led to satisfactory business performance, product and service quality that meets customer expectations, and service distribution that meets government expectations. XL Axiata received the following awards:


  • “Women's Tabloid Awards” is an award received by the CEO of XL Axiata, Dian Siswarini, for the outstanding achievements of women throughout the world in various professional fields, especially women leaders, entrepreneurs, and businesses led by women. This award was initiated by Women's Tabloid in London, England.


  • "Fortune Indonesia Change The World" is a Fortune Global program given to companies with programs that positively impact society, the environment, workers, and consistently enhance company performance and reputation. This award was initiated by IDN Media.


  • The "Indonesia Most Visionary Companies Awards 2024" honors companies that create long-term value for all stakeholders through a holistic and sustainable approach. This award was initiated by Warta Ekonomi.


Dian expresses gratitude to all segments of society for recognizing XL Axiata #BeBetter efforts. According to her, each award is not only a compliment, but also a responsibility to maintain the company’s achievements. Apart from that, an award also represents trust in the company, motivating XL Axiata to perform at its best in all business areas and corporate social responsibilities under #AdaForIndonesia.


These recognitions stem from thorough assessment conducted by each organizer.  For instance, the Women's Tabloid selection involves evaluating CEO nominees' contributions to Indonesia's telecommunications sector, which is carried out by the Women's Tabloid internal evaluation team and assisted by external evaluation institutions, a jury panel, and assessments from the Director and Publisher of Women's Tabloid. Several assessment criteria include Leadership Skills, Innovation and Vision, Company Financial Performance, position and growth in the market, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, industry recognition and awards, and partnerships and Strategic Alliances. Warta Ekonomi's evaluation, on the other hand, includes desk research, quantitative analysis, media monitoring, and qualitative assessment.
