New Features in AXISnet App Provide Added Convenience for Customers
Jakarta, November 4, 2019. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) through its AXIS brand continues to provide more conveniences for younger customers in obtaining service products via AXISnet application. First launched in 2016, this digital channel is now enriched with an assortment of features for easier access to various information and benefits related to AXIS services. Customers can now take advantage of these features starting from November 1, 2019, by downloading AXISnet application from Playstore for Android users. iOS users will soon be able to download the application from Apple Store.

Chief Marketing Officer XL Axiata, David Arcelus Oses said, “We keep innovating to present ever more rewarding services for loyal customers of AXIS who are mostly young people. They need the AXISnet application which enables them to easily obtain AXIS product or service, as well as up-to-date information about everything related to AXIS products. AXIS customers are dynamic youths, therefore we tailor our offerings to best suit their characters and needs.”

David highlights a number of new features in AXISnet application. Firstly, the balance lock feature (lock button). The first of its kind in Indonesia, this feature prevents automatic balance deduction from internet usage when the data quota has been exceeded and other unexpected deductions.

Secondly, the Special Offer Customized Product automatically identifies a customers’ character based on daily usage of AXIS services. The customers will be offered special price/ promotions that are suitable for his or her needs. In addition, the customer may get the best price for products in AXISnet. Thirdly, the “Super Sureprize” is a sweepstakes program available exclusively for AXIS customers.

To participate in the “Super Sureprize” program, customers need only purchase a monthly internet plan through the AXISnet application, or by using AIGO voucher at counters. Customers may use the AXISnet app to scan the AIGO voucher code used for purchase. The customer will then be automatically registered in the program for a chance to win a grand prize of motorcycle, smartphone, laptop, and other interesting prizes.

Another feature, multipayment, will be available later this November. This feature provides additional conveniences for customers in purchasing AXIS internet plan. Aside from using their balance to make the purchase, customers may also pay through various available digital platforms.

The AXIS brand is part of XL Axiata aimed at the youth segment, including college students. AXIS current flagship products are the OWSEM and Boostr plans designed to fulfill its young customers’ needs. OWSEM plan offers unlimited gaming with a main quota, social media quota, night quota, and music quota. The Boostr plan provides the benefit of internet quota for individual applications, which may be selected based on each customer’s needs. Both plans are available through the AXISnet application. 

AXIS services are supported by XL Axiata infrastructure spread all across Indonesia with more than 129,000 base transceiver stations, including more than 53,000 3G BTS and more than 39,000 4G BTS.  XL Axiata 4G service is now available in 410 municipalities/ regencies in almost all provinces. Through continuous expansion of its quality data network, AXIS services are now reaching more and more young people in many different regions, fueling their creativity and productivity.
