Support Program to Prevent Stunting XL Axiata – Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of NTT Province Distribute Package of Healthy Food

All healthy food packages will be distributed to residents in two villages directly adjacent to Timor Leste. Currently, the XL Axiata network for all of NTT is supported by more than 1,600 BTS including around 770 4G BTS.

Kupang, 18 September 2022. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) supports the Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province in carrying out activities for distributing healthy food packages to prevent stunting. The Kumham Cares for Remote Village Social Service Program takes place in two villages in North Insana District, North Central Timor Regency, which borders Timor Leste. Representing the management, Teritory Sales Manager of XL Axiata Area of Atambua, Andi Baharuddin was also present at the location on Friday (16/9).

 

XL Axiata East Region Group Head, Dodik Ariyanto, said, “XL Axiata always feels like a part of the local community wherever we are. Therefore, we also support efforts to overcome social problems in society. For this reason, on this occasion we welcome the opportunity to take part in overcoming the problem of stunting with friends from the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights from NTT Province. Hopefully our support in the form of a healthy food package can help people in need.”

 

Dodik added that all the healthy food packages will be distributed to residents in two villages, namely Humusu Village, North Insana District, North Central Timor Regency, and South Alas Village, East Motamasin District, Malaka Regency. XL Axiata cooperates with BenihBaik.com to distribute and ensure that all the healthy food packages can be well received by the beneficiaries according to the appointed time.

 

The Head of Legal Affairs for the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, NTT, Yunus Bureni added, "This activity is part of the commemoration of the 77th Dharma Karya Dhika Day in 2022, which aims to foster social values and sensitivity in every “Protector” (Insan Pengayoman), as well as a form of responsibility and a sense of solidarity towards others. We always hold events like this every year in collaboration with various parties. I would like to thank XL Axiata and various parties who have supported and participated in making this event a success.”

 

Currently, the XL Axiata network for all of NTT is supported by more than 1,600 BTS including around 770 4G BTS. For North Central Timor and Malaka Regencies, XL Axiata has approximately 37 4G BTS and 23 4G BTS, respectively. Meanwhile, in terms of coverage, XL Axiata's 4G network has reached 491 villages in 162 districts, and 22 regencies throughout the province. The XL Axiata 4G network in NTT is still being expanded. XL Axiata continues to invest in fiber networks, transmission, backhaul, network modernization, and various other network upgrades to improve stability, network capacity, and service quality in line with the continued increase in data service traffic.
