Jakarta, 31 May 2021. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) introduced an innovative product from XL HOME and XL Prepaid, namely "XL SATU Fiber". This product is the first convergence service in Indonesia, which allows customers to get fiber optic-based services as well as cellular services in one product. In addition, through XL SATU Fiber, all family members can enjoy the prepaid quota sharing service feature that can also be used when all family members are doing activities outside the home.

Seeing this need, convergence services is the right answer as it offers convenience for customers and their families to be able to get various high-quality telecommunications and data services to support daily activities both at home and outside. Through this XL SATU Fiber product, XL Axiata is at the same time pioneering convergence services in Indonesia.”
Abhijit added that through the one product, XL SATU Fiber, customers will be able to take advantage of various services from XL Axiata, which includes telephone, video, TV and data services, as well as fiber optic and cellular based services. According to Abhijit convergence services must be developed to answer market needs, along with the availability of supporting technology. Convergence services also allows XL Axiata to adopt new business models, offer innovative services, and enter new markets.
XL Axiata hopes that XL SATU Fiber will be able to help encourage the growth of fiber optic-based XL HOME service customers. Currently, over 110 thousand homes have become customers of the fixed internet service. Since internet services remain one of the pillars of the existence of XL SATU Fiber, the XL SATU Fiber product is already available in cities where XL HOME services are already covered. These cities include Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek), Yogyakarta, Denpasar, Makassar, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Banjarbaru, Medan, Palembang, Bandung, Cirebon, Semarang, Surabaya, Gresik, and Sidoarjo.
The XL SATU Fiber service offers five package options to customers. Each package allows customers to immediately receive an XL HOME entertainment box (Set Top Box) to access world-class entertainment from Netflix, Catchplay+, WeTV iflix, to national and international TV channels from Vidio. Since its launch in December 2018, XL HOME has received a positive response from the public. In the last one-year period, the number of home-passed increased by 100% to 540 thousand. Meanwhile, from the network side, the expansion of the network coverage area is also continuing as planned.
For cellular services, XL Axiata currently has 56.02 million subscribers, which are supported by more than 147 thousand BTS, including more than 57 thousand 4G BTS.
