XL Axiata Extends Sentra Vaksinasi Indonesia Bangkit Already Vaccinated 28 Thousand Elderly Citizens

Depok, 28 May 2021. PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) is extending Sentra Vaksinasi Indonesia Bangkit (the Rising Indonesia Vaccination Centre) in Depok. With this extension, the drive thru and walk-in vaccination services in collaboration with the University of Indonesia Hospital (RSUI) will provide services to the community until 23 July 2021. Residents aged 60 year old and over can benefit from this service, for which includes all elderly Indonesian citizens with a National KTP.

 

President Director & CEO of XL Axiata, Dian Siswarini said, "We are determined to continue to assist the government in accelerating vaccinations of priority citizens aged 60 year old and over in the Jabodetabek area and its surroundings, so such that our Rising Indonesia Vaccination Centre will therefore be extended to 23 July 2021. This time, not only just the elderly residents of Depok are elligible, but also theall elderly Indonesian citizens can take advantage of the services here."

 

Dian informed that since its opening  was opened on 22 March 2021, the Rising Indonesia Vaccination Centre has given vaccine injections to 16,400 elderly and 11,600 non-elderly (Public Educators and Public Services) residents. Thus, averages of 700 vaccines were injected per day to residents. So far, vaccinations can behave been carried out smoothly and safely.

 

The Rising Indonesia Vaccination Centre is located in the UI Hospital Parking Building, Depok. The vaccination process is still carried out on a drive-thru and walk-in basis under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and other authorized institutions. For smooth implementation, every day this vaccination centre receives the support of more than 130 volunteers, including doctors, nurses, security officers, and administrators. They came come from the Alumni Association of UI, XL Axiata employees and RSUI medical personnel.

 

The Rising Indonesia Vaccination Centre also received support from a number of XL Axiata partners, namely Benihbaik.com, Protelindo, Tower Bersama Group, and Alita. In addition, support also came from the Depok City Health Agency, the Provincial Government of West Java, and the City Government of Depok, as well as the Alumni Association of UI.

 

Citizens who wish to take vaccinations are required to register online through the page www.xlaxiata.co.id/indonesiabangkit by completing personal data validation and health conditions verification of potential vaccine participants. Prior to the injection of the vaccine, participants will undergo a physical condition check which is carried out according to health standards by the RSUI. The Rising Indonesia Vaccination Centre operates Monday-Friday (excluding holidays), from 08.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB every day (maximum arrival at 13.00 WIB).
