Jakarta, 26 February 2023.  PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) supports the government in stunting prevention programs in remote areas. XL Axiata's support is in the form of distributing healthy food packages to prevent stunting for mothers and children, in the form of rice, green beans, eggs, cooking oil, and sugar. The Benihbaik.com team distributed the stunting prevention food packages to a number of target areas spread across four provinces. The distribution took place in the period of January – February 2023. This program is a real action of XL Axiata's concern for social problems that occur in society.

Group Head of XL Axiata East Region, Dodik Ariyanto said, "XL Axiata cannot possibly turn a blind eye to social problems that arise in society because we are part of Indonesian society. Therefore, we actively support stunting prevention in various regions in Indonesia, including working with government agencies and local governments. Until now, we have distributed thousands of healthy food packages to remote areas. We will continue this social action in a wider area, including those in Eastern Indonesia."

Several areas that were targeted for distributing the healthy food packages to prevent stunting include Alue Deah Tengoh Village, Meurexa District, Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province. Then in Sungai Miai Village, Kayu Tinggi District, Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan. Lembang Village, Limboro District, Polewalimandar Regency, West Sulawesi. Furthermore, in Matakus Village, South Tanimbar District, West Southeast Maluku Regency, Maluku Province. The next plan is for healthy food packages to be distributed to West Papua.

Dodik added that several locations for distributing donations were in areas that were difficult to reach. To get to the location, the Benihbaik.com team had to take a long and difficult route. One of them is Matakus Village, which is on Matakus Island. This small island is located between Yamdena Island and Selaru Island in Maluku Province. To get there it takes about 3 hours by boat. Furthermore, Lembang Village in Limboro District, Polewalimandar Regency, West Sulawesi, is a 4-hour drive from Mamasa City.

XL Axiata's support for the stunting prevention program has been implemented in several cities/regencies in the Provinces of North Sumatra, Banten, East Nusa Tenggara, and South Sumatra. In total, more than 3,000 food packages have been distributed to people in need.
