Introduction

This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") describes how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by PT XL Axiata Tbk ("XL") and provides other important privacy information, describes when and how we may change this Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting our customers’ Personal Data and we have implemented appropriate measures to help protect the security of your personal data.

 

This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of Personal Data by XL when you use our network, visit our websites when you use or receive our products and/or services.

“Personal Data” means any information relating to XL’s customer that the customer has provided to XL or made available to XL due to his/her contract with XL, e.g. name, Identity Card / Passport No., address, information about his/her transactions with XL such as contact information, credit/debit card information and bank account details, mobile phone location (to enable connection to our network connection), browsing history, recording of calls you make to our service centers or contact centers and account activity; the words “you”, “your” and “customer” includes past, current and future customers of XL, including subscribers to other networks that roam with XL.

 

How Information About you is Collected
  1. To use our network and/or to receive our products and/or services, your Personal Data will be required, unless otherwise specified by us. Any failure to satisfy such requirements or any insufficiency of such Personal Data disclosure will not enable us to process your application and thus the services, features, or products may not be available to you
  2. When you sign up for our products and services, you consent to us collecting and processing (use, process, record, hold, store, share and disclose) your Personal Data
  3. Continued use of our network, visits to our websites, use of our products and/or services shall amount to your consent for the processing of your Personal Data by us. We will record and maintain such consent as appearing on our active customer database.
